University of Bahrain PhD Student Wins Third Place in GCC Statistical Competition

Nouria Al Sayed Shehab Mahfoudh, a PhD student in Business Analytics at the College of Business Administration, University of Bahrain, won third place in the “Renewed Publications… with a Unified Gulf Vision” competition, organized by the GCC Statistical Center.

Her project presented energy indicators across GCC countries in a creative, analytical, and interactive format. It covered oil, natural gas, electricity, renewable energy, and the energy transition through two versions tailored to the public and decision-makers.

The winners were honored during the competition’s virtual closing ceremony, held in July 2026.
