University of Bahrain President Discusses Strengthening Cooperation with Huawei

Dr. Fuad Mohammed Al-Ansari, President of the University of Bahrain, explored ways to enhance cooperation with representatives from Huawei during a meeting held at the university’s main campus in Sakhir on Tuesday (August 4, 2026).

During the meeting, Dr. Al-Ansari met with Mr. Eric Li, Managing Director of Huawei Bahrain, and Ms. Julie Paul, Public Relations Manager at Huawei Bahrain. The discussions focused on supporting and further developing existing cooperation, as well as exploring new and future opportunities that serve the academic process.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Hessa Jassim Al-Junaid, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Dr. Esra Ahmed Wali, Vice President for Partnerships and Development. The meeting reflects the university’s commitment to leveraging the latest technologies and advancing its digital transformation journey, with the aim of serving students, faculty, and administrative staff, and supporting the aspirations of the next phase.
