University of Bahrain Conducts English Placement Test for New Students

The new students attending the University of Bahrain took the English placement test on Wednesday and Thursday (September 2–3, 2026), as part of the admissions process and the start of the 2026–2027 academic year.

The University of Bahrain conducts the English placement test to students admitted  to the Foundation Program who are graduates of government and private schools. The test aims to assess their English proficiency and determine the most appropriate level for each student before they enroll in the program’s courses and their chosen academic major.

Based on the test results, students are placed into different levels within the Foundation Program, ensuring that each student starts at the level that matches their language skills and helps enhance their readiness for success in their academic journey.
