University of Bahrain and Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities Organise Third Youth Forum on Intangible Cultural Heritage

The Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, in coordination with the University of Bahrain, is organising the third edition of the Youth Forum on Intangible Cultural Heritage from 20 to 22 October 2026 at the Bahrain National Museum.

The forum coincides with International Day of the Intangible Cultural Heritage, observed annually on 17 October, highlighting the important role of young people in safeguarding Bahrain’s national heritage and ensuring its continuity. It also seeks to strengthen their participation in efforts to preserve cultural practices and traditions and pass them on to future generations.

The programme will bring together 28 students from various academic disciplines within the University of Bahrain’s College of Arts, with a particular focus on fields related to media, research and documentation.
