In collaboration with the ISACA Foundation and ISACA Bahrain University of Bahrain Joins Scholarship Initiative to Support Outstanding Bahraini Students in Technology and Cybersecurity
As part of its ongoing commitment to developing national talent and empowering the next generation of information technology and cybersecurity professionals, the University of Bahrain took part in a new initiative announced by the ISACA Bahrain Chapter in collaboration with the ISACA Foundation. The initiative is part of ISACA’s global efforts to support academically outstanding students and encourage them to build successful careers in IT audit, cybersecurity, risk management, and digital governance, helping to prepare a qualified national workforce that can meet the growing demands of the digital economy.
The scholarships provided financial support, along with a package of professional and development resources made available by ISACA to beneficiaries of its global education programs. The initiative reflected an extension of the strategic partnership between the ISACA Foundation, its Bahrain chapter, and the University of Bahrain. It aimed to expand educational and professional development opportunities for Bahraini students and prepare them to enter the job market in high-demand technology and digital sectors.
The initiative also reinforced the University’s role in aligning higher education with labor market needs, supporting academic excellence, and building partnerships with global professional networks. Through this partnership, the University of Bahrain contributes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), in line with Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030.
