Accounting Students Skills Put to the Test in Multi-Round Knowledge Challenge

The College of Business Administration at the University of Bahrain hosted the Accounting Knowledge Challenge, with the goal of testing students’ knowledge and skills in key areas of accounting while fostering greater interest in the field.
A total of 51 students from the Accounting Department participated in the event, forming 17 teams. The competition featured five rounds, each focused on a core topic: financial accounting, auditing, managerial and cost accounting, accounting standards, and fundamental accounting principles.
After an intense and engaging challenge, three teams emerged as winners:
First Place: Hasan Muneer Jaafar, Ali Aziz Alwadi, and Naser Abdulwahed Jasim.
Second Place: Ali Ahmed Najat, Mohamed Abdulmajeed Ebrahim, and Homamed Isa Kamal.
Third Place: Fedaa Abdulameer Almuwali, Fatema Isa Alghais, and Zainab Falah Khamis
The event successfully highlighted the depth of students skills and talent and emphasized the importance of practical knowledge in accounting education.
