Bahrain Teachers College kicked off its in-house professional development program

Bahrain Teachers College kicked off its in-house professional development program on September 3, 2024, with two sessions aimed at preparing faculty for the upcoming academic year.

 

The first workshop, led by Dr. Fuad Eksil and Ms. Shaima Al-Amm, focused on leveraging AI tools for designing educational resources. Faculty members were introduced to various AI applications to enhance classroom activities, assessments, and teaching aids.

 

The second session was a webinar presented by Dr. Poonam Anand and Dr. Parween Ebrahim. Their presentation, “Assessment of Academic Literacies Through the Lens of Bronfenbrenner’s Bioecological Model,” explored innovative applications of academic literacies in both higher education and school settings.

 

These workshops are part of the college’s commitment to continuous professional development and effective teaching strategies.
