BTC Students Produce 60 Children’s Stories in English
Students from the Bahrain Teachers College at the University of Bahrain held an exhibition for children’s stories showcasing 60 stories in English that they authored and produced.
This exhibition is the first of its kind to feature projects by students from the “Children’s Literature” course. The students worked in groups of 4 to 6 to author children’s stories in English that reflect the values, culture, and heritage of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The exhibition aims to encourage students to engage in the experience of literary authorship and creative production in English, as a practical application of their theoretical academic studies. It also seeks to motivate their peers to be creative and innovative in literary writing.
The students were supervised by: Dr. Sofia Ahmed Hashim, Head of the English Language Teaching Department Dr. Mohamad Hassan Alkassem, Assistant Professor in the English Language Teaching Department, Dr. Zainab A. Allaith, Assistant Professor in the English Language Teaching Department.
