Delegation from Sultan Qaboos University Visits University of Bahrain

A delegation from Oman’s Sultan Qaboos University visited the University of Bahrain on (20-21 April 2025). The delegation was headed by Dr. Saleh bin Hamad Al-Barashdi, Dean of the College of Law, and included Dr. Saleh Boushlaghm, Head of the Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation Unit.

This visit follows a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed by the two universities to strengthen scientific collaboration. The agreement includes sharing research expertise, supporting scientific publishing, and offering guidance on quality assurance and academic accreditation.

 

A meeting took place with Dr. Mohammed Redha Qader, Vice President for Academic Programs and Postgraduate Studies; Dr. Salah Mohammed Ahmed, Dean of the College of Law; Dr. Fay bint Abdullah Al-Khalifa, Director of the Quality Assurance Centerdepartment heads; the Director of the College’s Quality Office; and several faculty members. Discussions focused on research collaboration, scientific publishing, and consultation in quality assurance and academic accreditation. The delegation was also briefed on UOB’s postgraduate programs

 

 

During the visit, an academic accreditation workshop was held for faculty members of the College of Law as part of the collaboration between the two universities. The delegation also toured the college’s facilities, including a visual presentation at the College Hall highlighting the university and the Benefit Artificial Intelligence Lab.
