“Digital Identity of a Leader” Training Workshop for UOB Students
The Deanship of Student Affairs at the University of Bahrain (UOB) organized a training workshop titled: “The Digital Identity of a Leader… How to Craft Your Leadership Image and Make an Impact Through Digital Platforms.” The workshop was presented by Dr. Karim bin Yahya, Assistant Professor of Marketing in the College of Business Administration.
This event was part of the “Future Leaders Preparation Program” for the 2025/2026 academic year, which aims to prepare a generation of aware, responsible leaders with the ability to achieve their goals efficiently and innovatively.
The workshop covered practical topics, including the definition of a personal brand, the key steps to building a personal brand online, influencing factors, and supportive tools and methods. It also addressed managing personal identity in the digital environment.
Organizing this workshop falls within the Deanship of Student Affairs’ commitment to equipping students with modern leadership and managerial skills. This is achieved through the Future Leaders Preparation Program, which includes a series of specialized workshops in creative thinking, decision-making, and personal and career planning. This initiative contributes to enhancing the role of youth in the nation’s progress and advancement.
