Engineering Students Explore the Role of Academic Advising in Shaping Their Educational Journey

The College of Engineering at the University of Bahrain organized an Academic Advising Day for its students. During the event, several students shared their academic experiences, including the challenges they faced at the beginning of their studies, the strategies they used to overcome them, and the critical role their academic advisors played in guiding and supporting them.

 

The event aimed to raise students’ awareness on the importance of academic advising and its key role in shaping their educational journey and helping them achieve their academic goals.

 

During the discussions, participants emphasized how academic advising contributes to students’ success by ensuring steady progress and strengthening the bond between students and advisors. They also highlighted the importance of continuous support throughout their academic journey, as well as the contributions of student associations in enhancing students’ skills and abilities.
