From Bahrain to the Global Stage: A Bahraini Teacher’s Journey Toward International Awards

Isa Hussein Ali — an educator, certified trainer, and secondee to the Education & Training Quality Authority — presented the first steps toward excellence in education on Tuesday, 3 February 2026, during a lecture held at the Mohammed Jaber Al-Ansari College of Teachers at the University of Bahrain, titled “A Bahraini Teacher’s Journey Toward Global Awards.”

Addressing faculty members and students, Ali shared the key milestones of his journey toward excellence, outlining his early beginnings in the education field and emphasizing the importance of adhering to the criteria and requirements of international awards. He also highlighted the impact of winning on both the professional and personal levels, in addition to the main challenges he encountered and the lessons learned from participating — and succeeding — in global competitions.

The session was moderated by Dr. Masooma Ali Al-Mutawah, Head of the Department of Mathematics, Science, and Information and Communication Technology at the Mohammed Jaber Al-Ansari College of Teachers, University of Bahrain.
