Lecture on Stock Analysis Using Fundamental and Technical Approaches

The University of Bahrain organized a lecture titled “Mastering Stock Analysis Using the Fundamental and Technical Approaches”, on Thursday (8 October 2026). The lecture covered brief aspects of fundamental and technical analysis, along with valuation and investing concepts, to prepare students to work on their practical projects.

The lecture was presented by Dr. Shrikant Panigrahi of the Department of Economics and Finance at the University’s College of Business Administration. He focused on the technical side of stock analysis, covering price movement and trading, support and resistance levels, as well as the impact of geopolitical shocks and the mechanisms by which that impact transmits to the macroeconomy and then to financial markets.

This lecture comes as part of the College’s commitment to strengthening the practical side of the educational process, connecting students with modern practices and the rapid developments in financial markets, and thereby helping to develop their analytical and investment skills and prepare them to navigate the market environment more efficiently.
