Lecture on the Future and Economic Impact of the Space Industry

 The Bahrain Space Agency, in cooperation with the University of Bahrain, organized an awareness lecture titled “The Future of the Space Industry and its Economic Impacts.” The lecture was delivered by the world-renowned expert in space sector and investor, Ms. Candace Johnson, and was attended by a number of university students and academic staff.

The lecture addressed the rapid developments in the space industry and its role in supporting the global economy. Ms. Johnson shared her extensive experience in developing international initiatives and projects in this sector, emphasizing the importance of involving young talents in research and innovation related to space technologies.

This event was part of Ms. Johnson’s visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain, reflecting the Bahrain Space Agency’s commitment to supporting the development of national capabilities and raising awareness among Bahraini youth about the importance of space science and technology. This is achieved through the various educational and community initiatives and programs implemented by the Agency in cooperation with higher education institutions.
