Nursing Students Held Health Education Classes for Mothers on Paediatric Wards

Nursing students from the College of Health and Sport Sciences at the University of Bahrain held health education classes for mothers on paediatric wards as part of the Paediatric Nursing course. The classes aimed to raise mothers’ awareness of key aspects of child health and to build their knowledge and confidence in caring for their children.

They covered breastfeeding, complementary feeding and weaning, childhood accident prevention, and the management of common illnesses such as diarrhoea, respiratory infections and asthma. By equipping mothers with practical, evidence-based information, the classes empowered them to make informed decisions about their children’s health.
