President of University of Bahrain Discusses Strengthening Academic and Research Cooperation with Serbian Ambassador
The President of the University of Bahrain, Dr. Fuad Mohammed Al-Ansari, received H.E. the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Ms. Tatjana Garčević, as part of efforts to strengthen academic and cultural relations between the two sides and to explore opportunities for joint cooperation in educational and research fields.
During the meeting, Dr. Al-Ansari welcomed the Serbian Ambassador, affirming the university’s keenness to expand its international partnership network with academic and research institutions across the world, thereby contributing to the development of the educational environment, supporting innovation and scientific research, and fostering the exchange of expertise and knowledge.
The two sides discussed a number of topics of mutual interest, including enhancing cooperation in scientific research, exchanging academic expertise, and student and faculty exchange programs, in addition to exploring cooperation opportunities in scientific and technical disciplines that serve sustainable development priorities.
The meeting also reviewed the importance of building bridges of communication between universities and educational institutions in both countries, opening new horizons for scientific and cultural cooperation and enhancing opportunities for implementing joint research projects and organizing academic events that contribute to the exchange of knowledge and expertise among researchers and students.
For her part, Ambassador Tatjana Garčević praised the academic and research standing achieved by the University of Bahrain, expressing her aspiration to strengthen areas of cooperation with the university in a way that serves the mutual interests of both friendly nations.
