“Professional Ethics in Educational Institutions” a New Publication at BTC

Faculty members at Bahrain Teachers College at the University of Bahrain recently published a book titled “Professional Ethics in Educational Institutions”, which emphasizes ethical values as a cornerstone of educational practice.

The book, co-authored by Dr. Rafeda Omar Al-Hariri, Assistant Professor at the College, and Lubna Ahmed Ibrahim, IT Specialist at the college, explores the concept of moral education as a pathway to shaping learners’ awareness. It also examines ethical behavior in the workplace and its role in fostering trust and responsibility, while highlighting the strong connection between professional ethics and performance, demonstrating how adherence to principles enhances the quality of educational outcomes.

The book concludes with a contemporary chapter devoted to the ethics of artificial intelligence in education, offering a critical perspective on the responsibility of employing AI in ways that uphold justice and transparency. It also includes international and Arab experiences in AI governance, along with recommendations for establishing a unified Arab model.

The book was issued in a medium-sized format and extended to 180 pages, and published by Ebsar Publishing and Distribution in Amman, Jordan.
