Application Service for Postgraduate Programs at Mohammed Jaber Al Ansari College for Teachers

A service provided by the University for those wishing to apply for postgraduate programmes at Mohammed Jaber Al Ansari College for Teachers.

  • Conditions

    • The student must be a graduate of a bachelor’s program or its equivalent from the University of Bahrain or any other recognized university either inside or outside the Kingdom of Bahrain.
  • Required Document

    1. A recent colored Personal photo.
    2. Bachelor Certificate.
    3. Copy of a valid Passport.
    4. Copy of a valid CPR.
    5. Bachelor Transcript.
  • Process Steps

    1. Login to the application website sis.uob.edu.bh.
    2. Select the Link “UOB Admission Requests”.
    3. Select “Apply for Postgraduate Programs”
    4. Select the program type from “Request Type” list, click Next to continue.
    5. Review the terms and conditions, and click “ I Agree” to continue the application process.
    6. Enter the CPR, then click the “Submit” button.
    7. Enter Personal Information in the “Basic Data” tab, then click Next.
    8. Select desired preferences in the “Applicant Preference” tab, then click Next.
    9. Enter the bachelor certificate information in the “BSc. Qualification” tab, then click Next.
    10. Enter the Master certificate information in the “Master Qualification” tab only if the applicant is applying to the doctorate programs, otherwise the applicant can skip this tab by clicking next.
    11. Enter the contact data in the “Contact Data” tab, then click Next.
    12. Upload Required Documents.
    13. Click Submit.
    14. You can add or modify uploaded documents, as well as update your preferences, before the admission decision is issued by following the steps below:
      1. Login the Student Information System (SIS), sis.uob.edu.bh
      2. Click the link “University of Bahrain Admission Application”.
      3. Click “Post-Apply Services”.
      4. Enter the username (University ID number).
      5. Enter the password created when submitting the application.
        (Note: the applicant can reset their password by clicking the “Forgot Password?” link and following the standard steps to reset it.)
      6. After successfully logging in, applicants can update their information during the application period, or modify their data and upload the required documents after the final results are announced and confirmed, through the link available on the application screen, as listed below:
        • Modify Attached Files for Postgraduate Degree.
  • Comments (optional)

    • Only students from the Ministry of Education are admitted.
  • Governing Laws and Regulations

    • Graduate Studies Regulations at the University of Bahrain, established on March 14, 2013, and amendments were made by resolutions, the latest of which was Resolution No. (368) of the University Council for the year 2024, on July 11, 2024.
    • University Council Resolutions No. 296-2024, and 441-2020.

  • Process Steps

    1. Access the University’s website sis.uob.edu.bh.
    2. You may choose the preffered language by clicking the (ع) for Arabic or by clicking the (E) for English.
    3. Kindly access the link (UOB Admission Requests) and then access the link (Apply for Admission of Postgraduate Programs).
      • Note: Kindly ignore the availabale instructions because they are specific to applicants of postgraduate programmes at other colleges and not for applicants of postgraduate programs at Mohammed Jaber Al Ansari College for Teachers.
    4. Enter the basic information as follows:
      1. Personal ID number. Note If you were a former student at the University of Bahrain, when you enter your personal number, you will automatically be shown basic information, which you can edit if needed.
      2. Name in Arabic and English.
      3. Nationality.
      4. Date of birth.
      5. Place of birth.
      6. Religion.
      7. Sex.
    5. Select (Post Graduate Diploma).
    6. Select (Mohammed Jaber Al Ansari College for Teachers).
    7. Select your scholarship program determined by the Ministry of Education. (If you are not sure about the program, confirm the program from the ministry before entering, as registering in the wrong program may cause your registration to be delayed).
    8. Select the programme from which you graduated from in the bachelor’s degree, the country from which you graduated in, the name of the university you graduated from, the year of graduation, the GPA form, and the GPA rate.
    9. Enter your email. The e-mail cannot be used for more than one application, and you can not apply using the university’s e-mail .
    10. Enter your contact numbers and address.
    11. Kindly upload the required papers and documents to complete the application, namely:
      1. A stamped graduation certificate (an expected graduation certificate will not be accepted).
      2. Transcript of all academic semesters.
      3. Equivalent certificate for private universities within the Kingdom of Bahrain or universities outside the Kingdom (no equivalent certificate is required for Saudi government universities).
      4. Professional personal photo.
      5. A clear copy of a valid passport. (If the passport is expired, kindly attach the passport renewal request.)
      6. A clear copy of a valid ID card. (If the card is expired, kindly attach the card renewal request.)
    12. Kindly access the (Verification Code) button so you will receive a message on the email you placed in the application, kindly place the code in the designated area. (Check JUNK EMAIL if your email does not reach your email box as you will often find the message there if you do not find it in your inbox.)
    13. Click (Submit), and a message confirming you have successfully finished submitting the application will apear.
    14. If you need to add or edit one of the required documents or papers kindly acess the link (Modify Attached Files For Postgraduate degree), then enter the university number in the (username) and the personal number in the (password), after which you can add or edit the required documents.
