- A mandatory procedure for all students who are permanently withdrawing, dismissed, or graduating from the university. It aims to ensure that all academic, financial, and administrative obligations are settled before leaving the university.
No official document confirming the student’s permanent withdrawal, dismissal, or graduation will be issued until the clearance procedures have been completed.
Submission Steps
- The clearance request is submitted by the student through the designated screen in the student account via the Student Information System (SIS).
Conditions
- The student must be a graduate, dismissed, or permanently withdrawn from one of the university’s academic programs (Diploma, Associate Diploma, Associate Degree, Bachelor, Postgraduate Diploma, Master, or Doctorate).

Steps
The concerned departments review the requests in accordance with the approved procedures for each department, as follows:
The request is either approved by the relevant departments, or the student is required to fulfill the necessary obligations as determined by each department, as follows:
- Security and Safety Department: Return the university ID card.
- Deanship of Student Affairs: Return the locker key.
- University Library: Return borrowed books and pay any overdue fines.
- Finance and Budget Directorate: Settle all outstanding financial obligations.
- Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation Center (QAAC): Complete the graduate survey.
- Deanship of Admission and Registration: Verify the accuracy of the student’s records.
- Deanship of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research (for Master’s and PhD students): Submit copies of the thesis.
