Postponing the Study for One or Two Semesters

The service of postponing a semester or up to two semesters maximum, to temporarily suspend studies, is available through the Student Information System.

  • Conditions

    1. For Undergraduate studies: the maximum number of semester postponement is two continuous or separate semesters.
    2. For postgraduate studies: the maximum number of semester postponement is one semester.
  • Governing Laws and Regulations

    • Article (29) of the study and examination regulations at the University of Bahrain.
    • Article (35) of the Graduate Studies regulations at the University of Bahrain.

    1. Submit the request via the Student Information System.
    2. The student receives the OTP verification code to confirm the request.
    3. The request is automatically approved by confirming the verification code.
