The Add Seat service available during the course add/drop period
Allows students to request an additional seat in a full class section of a course. The request is submitted to the head of the academic department during the early registration period or the add/drop period.
Conditions
- No alternative sections are available that fit the student’s schedule or have vacant seats.
- The student has fulfilled the prerequisite required for course registration.
- Governing Laws and Regulations
- Article (20) of the study and examination regulations at the University of Bahrain

- The request is submitted through the Student Information Management System.
- The response is provided by the head of the academic department concerned with the course, or their delegate, either with approval or rejection.
- Processing Time
- During the registration, add, and drop period.
