Description

  • This service allows students wishing to register some courses at University of Bahrain through the Student Information System (SIS) website, who are subject to the relevant laws and regulations.

VISITING STUDENTS APPLICATION PROCESS

UOB welcomes all visiting students from other universities to study if the following conditions are met:

  1. The student shall be a regular student (Full Time Student) in a university recognized by the concerned authorities in the Kingdom.
  2. To submit an application with an approved candidacy by the competent authority at his/her university to study specific courses in one semester, along with an attested copy of his/her academic record, a copy of his/her passport, and his/her university card.
  3. The student’s registration in this capacity is not accepted, unless he/she has a vacant seat in the course to be studied after completing the registration, deletion and addition processes for university students.
  4. Foreign student – wishing to study as a visiting student – shall conform to obtaining a visa for entering the Kingdom of Bahrain and residing in it from the competent authorities. In case the student was not able to get a visa, his/her application will be considered invalid with no responsibility whatsoever to be upon the University.
  5. The student shall, at the time of registration, adhere to the payment of the tuition fees and any other fees.
  6. Acceptance of the student in this capacity does not consider a transfer to the University.
  1. Transcript from the university from which the student is transferred.
  2. A copy of the high school transcript or its equivalent, along with a graduation certificate, certified and approved by the competent authorities.
  3. The content of the courses to be equivalent at the University of Bahrain, certified and approved by the university from which the student is transferred.
  4. The student shall submit two academic recommendations from previous professors.
  5. The student shall succeed in the tests conducted by the academic department (if any).
  6. Good conduct and behavior certificate from the university from which the student is transferred.
  7. Colored photograph.
  8. A copy of a valid passport or proof of renewal in case of expiry. For non-Bahraini students residing in Bahrain, please attach a copy of a valid residence permit or proof of the renewal procedure.
  9. A valid ID card or proof of renewal in case of expiry. (Non-Bahraini).
  10. An application fee of BD 10 .
  11. A medical fitness examination certificate from one of the accredited centers or hospitals in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
  1. Log in to the Student Information System website sis.uob.edu.bh
  2. Select the Link “UOB Admission Requests”.
  3. Select the required program from the “Request Type” list, “Apply for undergraduate Programs – Visiting Student”.
  4. Review the terms and conditions and click “ I Agree” to continue the application process.
  5. Enter the student’s personal number, then click on the Apply button.
  6. Enter Personal Information in the “Basic Data” tab, then press Next.
  7. Enter the secondary certificate information in the “Secondary School Qualification” tab, then press Next.
  8. Select desired preferences in the “Applicant Preference” tab (Preferences appears according to your high school track), then press Next.
  9. Enter the contact data in the “Contact Data” tab:
    • Enter your Email address,
    • Enter your mobile number,
    • Create a password (will be used later for other services after submitting the application),
    • Complete the other required contact info,
    • Press Next to move to the following steps
  10. Upload Required Documents.
  11. Pay Application Fees: non-refundable BD 10.

  3. Professional personal photo
  4. No objection letter from the university to which the student belongs.
  5. Copy of University Degree transcript
  6. A copy of the Highschool transcript with a graduation statement.
  7. A copy of a valid residence permit for non-Bahraini students.

Visiting Student Process Steps

  1. Access the University’s website Student Information System   
  2. You can choose the language by clicking the (ع) for Arabic or by clicking the (E) for English.
  3. Kindly access the link (UOB Admission Requests) and then access the link (Apply for Admission of Postgraduate Programs).
  4. Enter the basic information as follows: (Personal Number – Name in Arabic and English – Nationality – Date of Birth – Place of Birth – Religion – Sex).
  5. General secondary/highschool data (qualification – specialization – country- school name – qualification date – GPA).
  6. Information on the College and Academic Program of the Required Courses
  7. Identify personal information (e-mail – contact numbers).
  8. Kindly click the (Verification Code) button and you will recive a message to the email and phone written in your application, kindly place the code in the designated block.
  9. Please upload the required papers and documents to complete the application.
  10. Click the (Submit) button, and a message will apear confirming you have successfully finished submitting the application.
  11. Pay the application fees of 10 dinars (non-refundable).
  12. If you need to add or amend one of the required documents or papers kindly enter the link (Uploaded File Update -First Period Programs and Second Period Programs) And then enter the university number in the (username) and the personal number in the (Password), after which the required documents or paperwork can be added or modified.
