Teachers’ Diploma Students Present Final Research Projects

Students enrolled in the Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) at the Bahrain College for Teachers (BCT), University of Bahrain, presented their final action research projects, as part of the program’s final graduation requirement, on Monday, May 19, 2025.

The presentations demonstrated the students’ ability to integrate theoretical knowledge with practical skills gained throughout the program. Their applied research focused on teaching and learning practices within real school environments.

Each student had 20 minutes for their presentation, 15 minutes to present their work and 5 minutes to answer questions from the evaluation committee. Additionally, they were required to submit a research poster designed according to specified guidelines. The evaluation process followed a detailed rubric aligned with the program’s intended learning outcomes (PILOs), with two faculty members assessing each presentation group.

Running until Wednesday, May 21, 2025, these presentations provide students with an opportunity to showcase their expertise in educational field research. Their work reflects a deep understanding of Bahrain’s education system while strengthening essential skills such as scientific communication, critical analysis, and critical thinking, in line with the program’s intended learning outcomes (ILOs).
