Student from the College of Teachers Earns Second Place Gulf-Wide in Essay Writing

Dalal Eid Al-Ammash, a student from the Bahrain Teachers College at the University of Bahrain, secured second place at the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) level in the Writing Track (University Category) of the “Smart Gulf Investor” competition, which was held on May 18, 2025, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The competition attracted more than 88,000 participants from across the Gulf region.

Her achievement was earned through her article titled “Extravagance in the Grip of Time,” which stood out for its creative approach that skillfully combined the historical perspective of Ibn Khaldun’s Muqaddimah with contemporary financial awareness, offering a thoughtful and engaging narrative.

As a result of this accomplishment, Dalal Eid Al-Ammash was awarded a cash prize of SAR 15,000, reflecting the distinguished performance of University of Bahrain students and their strong presence in regional competitions.
