University of Bahrain Briefs Academics on Copyright and Academic Integrity

Faculty members at the University of Bahrain participated in a workshop titled “Copyright and Academic Integrity: University of Bahrain Policy,” organized by the Unit for Teaching Excellence and Leadership at the university, on Monday (January 5, 2026).

The workshop addressed publication and copyright issues, academic integrity, authorship standards, and author rights. It also highlighted matters of academic plagiarism and how they are addressed within University of Bahrain policies.

The workshop was presented by Dr. Hanan Mohamed Al-Mawala, Associate Professor at the College of Law, University of Bahrain.
