University of Bahrain Celebrates Chemistry Day with Hands-On Experiments and Student Presentations

The University of Bahrain held Chemistry Day on Wednesday, 28 October 2026. College of Science students and faculty members attended. The event coincided with International Chemistry Day and the Arab Chemistry Week, which is celebrated every year during the last week of October.

Students presented a variety of chemistry-related activities and experiments in a lively, interactive setting. The “Fun Chemistry” corner offered visitors simple demonstrations that made scientific concepts easy and enjoyable to grasp. The “Chemistry Market” showcased student projects and products that link chemistry to everyday life.

The event aimed to encourage creativity and scientific communication, and raise awareness of the importance of chemistry in daily life, industry, and environmental protection. It also reflects the college’s commitment to supporting student-led activities that complement academic learning.
