University of Bahrain Claims First Place for Best Written Memorial in Arab Moot Court Competition
The College of Law at the University of Bahrain has achieved a distinguished milestone, winning first place for the “Best Written Memorial” award at the conclusion of the 12th edition of the Arab Moot Court Competition, which was recently held remotely under the supervision of the Kuwait International Law School and A’Sharqiyah University in the Sultanate of Oman.
The university team’s victory, securing first place among 22 legal memorials submitted by 19 Arab countries, reflects the advanced level and high professionalism of University of Bahrain students in drafting legal arguments and court written memorials (briefs).
In terms of individual awards, the University of Bahrain continued to excel, with student Tufool Osama winning second place for the “Best Oralist” award in the competition’s preliminary rounds, competing against 44 pleaders representing 22 Arab universities.
The winning University of Bahrain team included students Eman Abdulrauf and Tufool Osama, under the supervision of Dalal Al-Mashari, Research and Teaching Assistant in the Department of Public Law at the College of Law.
This achievement reflects the University of Bahrain’s commitment to enhancing students’ skills in general, contributing to empowering them with tools for learning and academic development, and enabling them to represent the Kingdom of Bahrain in the best possible way in Arab and international academic forums.
