University of Bahrain Explores Role of Artificial Intelligence in Enhancing Administrative Performance

The University of Bahrain staff were introduced to the role of artificial intelligence in enhancing administrative performance through their participation in a workshop organized by the Unit for Teaching Excellence and Leadership, titled “Artificial Intelligence in Administrative Work: From Routine to Creativity”, on Sunday (December 14, 2025).

The workshop enabled participants, both academics and administrators, to utilize AI tools in preparing correspondence and reports, as well as organizing tasks. It focused on training attendees to design a simple digital assistant to accomplish their daily work, thereby fostering a culture of innovation and ethical use of modern technologies within the university work environment.

The workshop was presented by Dr. Wedad Mohamed Al-Jawder, Assistant Professor of Administrative and Technical Programs at the College of Applied Studies.
