University of Bahrain Highlights Importance of Peer Observation in Teaching 

A workshop titled “Peer Observation of Teaching,” held on Monday (November 3, 2025) and organized by the Excellence Unit in Teaching and Leadership Skills at the University of Bahrain, focused on the importance of peer observation in the teaching process as a tool for professional development in learning and teaching practices.

The workshop, attended by a number of faculty members at the university, also emphasized the purpose of peer observation during instruction and explored how faculty can effectively observe one another’s teaching.

The workshop was presented by Dr. Noor Nabil Al-Doy, Assistant Professor in the Department of Architecture and Interior Design at the College of Engineering, University of Bahrain, and Dr. Basma Taqi al-Najar, Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at the College of Science, University of Bahrain.
