University of Bahrain Holds Second “Ajwaa” Exhibition with Broad Student Participation

The University of Bahrain held the second edition of the “Ajwaa” Exhibition on Sunday, 17 May 2026, in the atrium of the College of Arts, with broad student participation.

Graduating students in the Tourism track of the Department of Media, Tourism, and Arts at the College of Arts presented a selection of their innovative tourism projects. These projects aligned with the strategic tourism plan of the Kingdom of Bahrain and were consistent with the Kingdom’s Economic Vision 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals.

In their projects, the students focused on ideas that reflect the cultural and national identity of the Kingdom of Bahrain, highlighting its heritage and social components that strengthen national belonging, through the presentation of innovative tourism experiences. The projects also clarified the project concept, its objectives, and expected outcomes, in addition to showcasing the tourist’s journey within the project in a fully interactive format.

The projects included a study of the economic aspects in terms of revenues and their anticipated economic impact at the local level, reinforcing their role in supporting the Kingdom’s tourism sector. Furthermore, these projects were linked to the Sustainable Development Goals, with an emphasis on sustainability and innovation as fundamental pillars to ensure the continuity and future development of these projects, aligned with the Kingdom of Bahrain’s development priorities.
