University of Bahrain Holds Virtual Workshop on Ethics of Using AI in Research and Education

The University of Bahrain held a virtual workshop titled “Ethics of Using Artificial Intelligence in Research and Education” on Sunday, March 29, 2026.

The workshop explored the capabilities of AI tools, along with the associated challenges and ethical considerations. It also provided practical guidance for researchers on responsible AI use, enhancing their research capabilities, and ensuring transparent documentation when using AI or other assistive technologies.

The workshop was delivered by Dr. Osama Al-Mahdi, Assistant Professor at the Mohammed Jaber Al Ansari College for Teachers, as part of a series organized by the Unit for Teaching Excellence and Leadership (UTEL) at the University of Bahrain.
