University of Bahrain Holds Workshop for Faculty on Implementing Quality Assurance Policy

The University of Bahrain (UOB) organized a workshop for faculty members titled “UOB Quality Assurance Policy: From Understanding to Implementation” on Tuesday, 29 September 2026.

The workshop was presented by Dr. Sara Abdulla Bader, Associate Professor in the Department of English Language and Literature, and Director of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Office at the college of Arts, who discussed the role of the quality policy in academia and the role of faculty members in implementing it. Participants reviewed practical examples of how the policy operates in academic practice.

The workshop was organized by the Unit for Teaching Excellence and Leadership at UOB as part of its professional development workshop series, which aims to enhance the quality of academic work and ensure adherence to the highest standards among university staff.
