University of Bahrain Holds Workshop on Higher-Order Thinking Skills Strategies

Students from the Mohammed Jaber Al Ansari College for Teachers (BTC) at the University of Bahrain (UOB) participated in a training workshop titled “Strategies for Developing Higher-Order Thinking Skills in the Classroom,” organized by the Department of Teacher Preparation Programs at the college on Tuesday (February 10, 2026).

During the workshop, students were introduced to higher-order thinking skills, such as critical thinking and creative thinking, and were enabled to develop educational materials and instructional strategies that contribute to fostering these skills among their future students in the classroom.

The workshop was presented by Dr. Syed Salah Alawi Salman, Associate Professor of Gifted and Creativity Education at Mohammed Jaber Al Ansari College for Teachers.
