University of Bahrain Honors 35 Graduates of Academic and Professional Programs
The University of Bahrain honored 35 faculty members who participated in the unit’s programs for continuous professional development, on Monday (29 July 2026). These programs are accredited by the British Higher Education Academy (Advance HE ) for the 2024-2025 academic year.
Dr. Amal Mohamed Al Rayes, Director of the Unit for Teaching Excellence and Leadership (UTEL), and Dr. Esra Ahmed Wali, Vice President of Partnerships and Development handed out the certificates, as the ceremony honored 12 graduates of the Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice (PCAP) program, 15 graduates of the Continuing Professional Development Program (CPD), and 8 graduates of the New to Teaching in Bahrain (NTB) program.
The College of Arts, the College of Engineering, and the College of Business Administration respectively won the award for the top three colleges with the highest attendance in the training workshops. In addition, academic and administrative staff members with the highest attendance in the training workshops offered by the UTEL were also honored.
