University of Bahrain Hosts Training Program for Employees of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports
The University of Bahrain held a training program for employees of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports on Thursday, 11 June 2026, titled “Creative Leadership.” The program was organized by the university’s Community Service and Continuing Education Center, in cooperation with the Unit for Teaching Excellence and Leadership.
The course aimed to equip participants with creative thinking tools and methods for applying them in team leadership in order to enhance workplace efficiency and productivity. It also sought to highlight the differences between traditional management and creative management, build an institutional culture that supports new ideas, apply “out-of-the-box” thinking strategies to solve administrative problems, and utilize practical tools in the work environment, including brainstorming.
The course covered several key themes, including the mindset of the renewing leader, idea engineering and process development, leadership through empowerment, building an environment of innovation, smart decision-making, and impact management.
The course was delivered by Dr. Hala Mohammed Hatoum, Assistant Professor in the Department of Administrative Programs at the College of Applied Studies, University of Bahrain.
