University of Bahrain Hosts Workshop on Fostering Creativity in Education

A workshop titled “Education for Creativity and Innovation in Higher Education” focused on creativity and its importance in the teaching and learning process. The session highlighted key theories that address the nature of creativity.

The workshop concentrated on the process of developing educational materials that contribute to employing creative thinking skills within the classroom, as well as the difference between traditional education and education for creativity.

Held on Monday (January 12, 2025), the event was organized by the Unit for Teaching Excellence and Leadership (UTEL) at the University of Bahrain and attracted participation from both academic and administrative staff members.

Dr. Syed Salah Alawi Salman, a faculty member at Mohammed Jaber Al Ansari College for Teachers UOB, presented the workshop.
