University of Bahrain Introduces Faculty to the Flipped Classroom Methodology
Faculty members at the University of Bahrain (UOB) participated in an interactive workshop titled “Let’s Flip Our Classrooms for Faster and Better Learning,” organized by the Unit for Teaching Excellence and Leadership (UTEL) at the university.
The workshop explored the flipped classroom methodology, with participants discovering its core principles, benefits, and challenges. Faculty members also took part in a practical demonstration on how to apply this approach in teaching and learned methods for effectively designing lesson plans within the framework of this methodology.
The workshop was presented by Dr. Noor Nabil Al-Doy, Coordinator of the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Program at the UTEL and Assistant Professor in the Department of Architecture and Interior Design at the College of Engineering, and Dr. Sara Abdullah Bader, Assistant Professor in the Department of English Language and Literature at the College of Arts, UOB.
