University of Bahrain Organizes Workshop on Canva as a Visual Communication Tool

The University of Bahrain organized a hands-on workshop titled “Canva as A Visual Communication Tool” on Sunday, June 21, 2026, with a number of academic and administrative staff members in attendance.

The workshop aimed to introduce participants to the basics of using Canva to create visually engaging and accessible materials. Participants explored simple tools that enable the efficient design of professional resources without the need for advanced design skills.

Dr. Nehal Almurbati, Assistant Professor of Architecture and Interior Design at the College of Engineering, University of Bahrain, presented the session.

The workshop was offered by the Unit for Teaching Excellence and Leadership at the University of Bahrain as part of a series of professional development workshops aimed at enhancing the technical skills of university staff.
