University of Bahrain President Welcomes Badminton Team Following Regional Third-Place Achievement

The President of the University of Bahrain, Dr. Fuad Mohammed Al-Ansari, welcomed the badminton team following its participation in the Dar Al-Hekma University Regional Badminton Championship for Universities, held at Creativity International Schools in Jeddah, in recognition of the team’s outstanding achievement in the tournament.

The university president congratulated the team members on this honorable representation, commending the high technical level and sportsmanship displayed by the university’s students at the regional event, and reaffirmed the university’s ongoing support for sports and student activities that elevate the name of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The university team secured third place in the Doubles competition, won by student Noora Amin Al-Sayed Taleb from the University of Bahrain, in partnership with her teammate student Mariam Farhan Farhan Asif from the American University, in a fine example of sporting collaboration among university students.
