University of Bahrain Strengthens Its Impact on Professional Development Through Specialized Training Programs

The University of Bahrain, represented by its Unit for Teaching Excellence and Leadership Skills (UTEL), has continued to strengthen its role in developing competencies and building capacity by delivering 67 training and professional development workshops during the 2025/2026 academic year, benefiting more than 2,890 participants from both within and outside the University.

The workshops covered a wide range of contemporary fields aligned with the evolving needs of institutions and individuals, with a particular focus on artificial intelligence and digital transformation, as well as teaching, learning and assessment, professional and personal development, digital skills, governance, cybersecurity, and sustainability.

The programs were delivered in both Arabic and English through flexible training formats, including face-to-face and online sessions, enabling broad participation from members of the University community, educational institutions, schools, government entities, and various organizations across the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.

A total of 40 trainers from within and outside the University contributed to delivering the workshops, enriching the learning experience, facilitating knowledge exchange, and strengthening professional and academic partnerships at both the national and regional levels.

These initiatives reflect the University of Bahrain’s commitment to providing continuous learning opportunities that keep pace with emerging developments, foster innovation and institutional excellence, and enhance the professional and academic capabilities of participants.
