University Of Bahrain Student Teams Wins Three Awards

Dr. Fuad Mohammed Al Ansari, President of the University of Bahrain, congratulated the student teams who won awards in INJAZ Bahrain’s 17th Annual Young Entrepreneurs Competition (2025) under the university track. The competition aims to foster entrepreneurship and innovation among Bahraini youth.

The PITROLAS team won the “2025 Global Impact Award”, while the TABOG team won the “2025 Product of the Year Award” from INJAZ Bahrain, along with the “Best Financial Performance Award” by CrediMax.

TABOG team has produced eco-friendly bricks using recycled plastic and glass instead of imported materials, reducing costs and protecting the environment. The team comprised: Abdulla khan, Manar Sadeq, Gufran Ali, Hawra Alarab, Sayed Ali Almosawi, Kawther Mansour, Muhra Muneer, Hanadi Rasheed, Sima Feras, Arfan Mohammed, Duaa Adel and Nawra Ali.

PITROLAS team developed an innovative solution to convert plastics into usable fuels using advanced and sustainable technologies, contributing to reducing environmental pollution and dependence on traditional fossil fuels. The team comprised: Mohammed Mahdi, Zainab Jassim, Khalid Nasser, Hussain Mohammed, Hussain Jameel, Rawan Jaffer, Mohammed Aqeel، Hajer Yaqoob and Hasan Adel.

It is worth mentioning that the teams are made up of students from different disciplines, and INJAZ Bahrain’s “Company program” contributed to fostering the spirit of cooperation and exchange of ideas among the team members.
