University of Bahrain Trains a New Cohort of Private School Teachers through Its Professional Development Programme
A total of 170 teachers from private schools across the Kingdom of Bahrain have taken part in the Educational Professional Qualification Program for Private School Teachers, organized by the University of Bahrain as part of its ongoing efforts to develop educational staff.
The programme covered several specialised modules, including classroom management, educational psychology, modern teaching strategies, lesson planning, assessment and evaluation, and practicum. It is delivered by a select group of academics and education specialists at the Mohammed Jaber Al-Ansari College of Teachers at the University of Bahrain.
During the 2025/2026 academic year, about 780 teachers from private schools earned the Educational Professional Qualification, in both Arabic and English.
Further cohorts of teachers are planned for the current academic year, continuing the University’s role in developing educational human resources and supporting the Kingdom’s education sector.
The programme is run by the Continuing Education & Community Development Department, in collaboration with the Mohammed Jaber Al-Ansari College for Teachers. It reflects the University’s commitment to its strategic goals of serving the community, strengthening effective partnerships, and drawing on academic expertise to raise professional practice across the education sector.
