UOB Academic Wins “Distinguished Arab Researcher of the Year 2025” Award

An academic at the University of Bahrain won second place in the “Distinguished Arab Researcher of the Year 2025” award during the 10th Conference on the Arab Impact Factor, hosted by King Khalid University in Abha, Saudi Arabia.
Dr. Marwa Mohammed Al-Mulla, Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the College of Arts, earned this recognition for her research on artificial intelligence and its applications in psychological counseling. The award also acknowledges her internationally recognized, peer-reviewed studies, highly cited publications, and influential academic writings.
This award is among the most prestigious in the Arab world, promoting scientific excellence based on criteria such as originality, methodological rigor, social impact, and integrity. It also highlights the growing presence of Arab research in global academic databases.
