UOB “Applied Studies” Students Present Innovative Solutions to Engineering, Management and Technical Sectors

Students from the College of Applied Studies at the University of Bahrain presented innovative ideas and solutions to address issues in the fields of engineering, management, and technology. The graduation projects exhibition for the second semester of the academic year 2024/2025, was organized by the college on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at the university’s headquarters in Sakhir.
During the exhibition, students in administrative, technical and engineering programs presented around 30 projects which featured practical applications and solutions using environmental resources to generate clean energy, creating smart systems to control and monitor devices and systems remotely, developing websites, and designing building materials with advanced specifications. The projects reflected an integration between the theoretical and applied aspects, under the supervision of a group of college professors.
Dr. Esra Ahmed Wali, Vice President for Partnerships and Development at the University of Bahrain, honored three outstanding winning projects in each program, alongside Dr. Hussain Mohsen Al Arayedh, Dean of the College of Applied Studies. A panel of external specialized judges evaluated the projects according to standardized criteria.
