UOB “Business” reviews Shari’ah Auditing in Islamic Banks

Business Administration students at the University of Bahrain participated in an engaging seminar on the fundamentals of Sharia audit and review in Islamic financial institutions. The session was led by Dr. Abdul Nasser Al-Mahmood, Executive Senior Manager at Khaleeji Bank.

 

During the seminar, Dr. Al Mahmood delivered an introductory guide to help students set their goals and stay motivated in pursuing excellence in Islamic finance. He shared practical insights on the essential skills required for professionals in Sharia auditing and general auditing. Additionally, he provided real-world applications to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical implementation.

 

The seminar drew a large and enthusiastic audience, with students actively participating in discussions and Q&A segments. The event was moderated by Mr. Esam Mohamed Albastaki, a faculty member in the Department of Islamic Banking.
