UOB Expert Contributes to Regional Arabic Language Education Policy
Manama, Bahrain – A lecturer from the University of Bahrain (UOB) has contributed his expertise to a high-level forum focused on shaping the future of Arabic language education. The event, titled “Curriculum Design and Policy Collaboration in Arabic Language Education,” brought together leading specialists to address educational reform and curriculum development across the Arab world.
Sami Abdullah Rahmouni, a Lecturer of Arabic Language and Islamic Studies, represented UOB, an institution renowned for its sustained and influential role in regional educational advancement.
Mr. Rahmouni’s participation was informed by his recent work as the Principal Investigator for a significant 2023 comparative study on Arabic language curricula in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In this role, he led a comprehensive analytical study, the findings of which were published in the collective academic volume, “Reading in Arabic Language Curricula: Realities and Prospects.”
His research and contributions at the event provided valuable, evidence-based insights aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of Arabic language teaching and learning, reinforcing UOB’s commitment to collaborative progress in the field.
