UOB Graduate Studies Forum Discusses Over 70 Scientific Papers and Reviews Students’ Academic Experiences

Participants at the University of Bahrain Postgraduate Studies Forum discussed 78 scientific papers by postgraduate students from various programs. Nine graduates shared their academic experiences during ten parallel sessions at the forum, organized by the Deanship of Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research.

The Forum aims to hone students’ research skills through interactive academic platforms, connect their academic research with practical and community applications, and enhance their critical and creative thinking.

In its third edition, the forum introduced a new academic competition format, where students presented their research concisely and professionally. The “Three Minute Thesis” challenge featured participants presenting and been evaluated by the jury and audience.

During the forum, statistics on research published by UOB affiliates in the international database (Scopus) over the past five years were presented, including the percentage of joint research with external sectors to promote collaboration, as well as the students’ role in advancing scientific research at the university.
