UOB Law Students Raise Environmental Awareness Through School Workshops

Students from the Legal and Human Rights Clinic at the College of Law, University of Bahrain organized a series of awareness workshops for both public and private schools across the Kingdom, focusing on environmental legislation and climate change.

The workshops, conducted in coordination with the Ministry of Education, reached approximately 250 school students and highlighted the importance of preserving the environment and ensuring the sustainability of natural resources.

Participants were introduced to national legislation aimed at protecting the environment and learned about Bahrain’s coordinated efforts, across public institutions, private entities, and civil society, to safeguard a clean and safe environment for current and future generations.

Through these initiatives, the Legal and Human Rights Clinic continues to integrate academic learning with community service, fostering both professional development for students and meaningful social impact.
