UOB Legal Clinic Students Receive Introductory Lecture at Public Prosecution
Students from the Legal and Human Rights Clinic at the College of Law, University of Bahrain attended an introductory lecture at the Public Prosecution, delivered by Mr. Mohammed Al-Hammadi and Mr. Khalid Al-Jalahma, Public Prosecutors.
The lecture covered the structure, functions, and societal role of the Public Prosecution, including the specialized Family and Child Prosecution unit.
Students learned about procedures for handling cases involving child defendants and victims during investigation and trial stages, as well as mechanisms for conducting electronic investigations.
The program included a guided tour of the Family and Child Prosecution facilities, allowing students to observe dedicated investigation rooms and victim and witness protection areas.
This hands-on experience provided participants with practical insight into the operations and responsibilities of the Public Prosecution in Bahrain.
