UOB Media Students Participate in the Arab Media Forum in Kuwait under the Theme “Intelligence of the Future”

Within the framework of the University of Bahrain’s collaboration with the Ministry of Information and its commitment to community engagement, media students Sadiqa Al-Dairy, Zahra Mohammed, and Khalifa Bukhali participated in the 19th Arab Media Forum, held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Kuwait from the 5th -7th of May, 2024, under the theme “Intelligence of the Future.”

The forum convened representatives from Ministries of Information, alongside prominent Arab media professionals, writers, journalists, and academics, to deliberate

on key media-related issues and explore evolving dynamics in communication in the digital era.

The program comprised three sessions, each addressing a distinct topic: Content Creation: Between Audience Desires and Quality of Substance. This session emphasized the production of meaningful content that attracts audiences while upholding integrity and value, rather than merely catering to popular trends. The Spirit of Success: Youth Experiences in Media and Social Media. This session explored challenges encountered by young media professionals. Social Media Platforms: Between Fame and Influence. This session examined the balance between online popularity and tangible societal impact.
